Each member of your group contributes their own experiences, attitudes, and skills to a sponsorship. There is rarely a uniform solution to any challenge, and as such, not everyone may completely agree on how to handle certain situations. The way your group is organized, the way roles are shared, and the existing professional and private relationships in the group may all affect group management and communication.

4.2 Changes in the Sponsorship Agreement

Over the course of sponsorship, changes may occur that change the original agreement. For example, sponsored refugees may decide to move to a different community after their arrival. This is typically known as secondary migration.

There are several benefits to sharing sponsoring experiences with others. For one, it is an opportunity for sponsorship groups to learn best practices, valuable lessons, and ultimately improve the sponsorship experience for both sponsorship groups and refugees.

4.4 End of Sponsorship

t is important at the beginning of the sponsorship period to explain to sponsored refugees that your legal responsibility to sponsor them ends at a certain point, and to discuss the steps you plan to take together during the sponsorship period in anticipation its conclusion.
